Combination Machines 

 

COMBINATION MACHINES use the fastest technologies to make parts — Punching and Plasma Cutting. Punched holes provide accurate internal features.It is faster to punch holes than to pierce and contour holes with plasma or laser. External features are plasma cut. Advanced plasma-productive contouring (much faster than laser) with high quality. Small kerf angle (vertical cuts) Additional features such as forming (countersinks, tread plate, louvers), drilling and tapping can be added to eliminate additional downstream operations, allowing parts to be completed in a single operation. Economics drive customers desires for combination machines. More productive than either stand-alone laser or stand-alone plasma. Whitney will stand behind each product and ensure that your buying experience exceeds your expectations.Punching is one of the least expensive ways of making holes in structural shapes. WHITNEY portable presses reduce "hole" costs because punching takes only a small fraction of the time required for drilling or burning holes and eliminates clean-up operations. You can make money punching wide flange beams, columns, channel iron, angle iron, I-beams, plate and other materials.
